Shelby Markey with the support from the founder, Tyler Falconer brings all of the same Falco K9 home grown business feel to serve the western half of the state of Massachusetts. Shelby has always loved working with dogs and with ten years experience in the dog world and a year at the Boston location she is perfect to head the new location. Falco K9 Worcester’s mission is to help your dog reach their full potential and suit your family’s needs from off leash hiking buddy to protecting your home.

Shelby Markey

Shelby became interested in training with her first dog, Kali, a rescue papillon/chihuahua who she taught to do everything from sport scent work to ride atop kayaks on the water. She then went on to work with Police K9’s in West Virginia and helped dogs along their journey from puppyhood to being certified on various narcotics. Her interests vary from trick dog training, to agility, to sport scent work, and behavior modification. With her current sport dog a Belgian malinois named Kyber, she is working toward titling Kyber in a bite work sport called PSA. With her current rescue chihuahua, Mak, she is working on sport scent work.

Dogs are amazing animals, there have been times I have had to trust them with my own life in the field. Our goal in establishing Falco K9 was to prepare and train dogs to be trusted members of your family, in whatever manner best meets your needs.

Whether you want your dog to be obedient, protect your home, find someone in need, or learn other amazing things to realize their full potential, I want our team to help you every step of the way. I look forward to meeting you and your canine companion in person soon. Let’s get to work!

1 on 1 sessions

Our individualized personal training provides our team members with the opportunity to train with your dog one-on-one and address their specific needs and behaviors.

The first training class will cover the dog’s background, establish training goals, and review the Falco K-9 training method. The following sessions will progress on to more focused training techniques to include basic commands like “let’s go” and “heel” to prepare for proper on-leash walking.

Our priority is to create a better relationship between you and your best friend!

BOARD & train

Boarding your dog for training provides added structure to the program while your dog is learning new behaviors and skills. For some dogs, going home at the end of the day allows them to revert to their pre-established routine, making training more difficult. Every dog and family is different, we encourage you to choose what is best for your individual needs.
